JANUARY 2015 MAGAZINE

It is a welcome to all in the parish as we begin a new year, church magazine are always available in our churches each month at the cost of 35p per month or £3.50 for the year.

A review of the latest magazine now follows.

FROM THE CHURCWARDENS

On behalf of the churchwardens, Robin spoke about Fr Nicholas, and his recent health problems. It looks like his absence will be a long one, and thanks were expressed for all those who have worked so hard to deal with things in the meantime. The Rural Dean and the Archdeacon have also offered their support to attend services. However we all wish that Fr Nicholas will return to us all, when his health improves sufficiently enough to return to continue his good work in the parish.

CHURCH FLOWERS

Thanks were given to all who contribued their time and money towards the flowers in our two churches.

MOTHERS' UNION

Brenda shared with us the news of the hospitality of the Myland branch at their carol service at the beginning of December. As always the church was decorated with various Christmas trees of different organisations affiliated to St Michael's Church.

WINTER PROGRAMMES

A detailed review was given of the work done at Beacon House and at St Peter's and the good things that they do.
